Overhead lines are often the most effective way to deliver power to our customers. It’s not always appropriate to install wires underground but we do use this option under certain circumstances.

We seek out individual solutions for all our customers and their communities. Decisions are made after careful analysis and planning by our engineers, who consider factors such as Right of Way, the location of trees, distance to a power source and ease of repair. Should you ever have questions about electrical equipment on your property or concerns about service reliability, please feel free to contact us.

  2. considering purchasing my first rural property, but there is concern that the previous owner may have accidently tilled the buried electric line, it may not be so, but if it is, what is the average cost, if any, to repair it, or replace it per foot, either above ground or buried? so I can measure and get a ballpark figure before I purchase. either way works buried or not, which ever is cheaper, as long as it gets power to the building. If it is just something free included in service to run a line, disregard this question. thanks 🙂 location martinsburg, knox county, ohio
