You depend on us for power and we take that responsibility very seriously. Our teams are hard at work every day to make improvements on the electric system in your area. Below are some key 2022 highlights of the work completed in northeast Ohio to reduce outages across the region and increase the resiliency of our systems.

This year, you’ll continue to see our crews upgrading poles, lines and equipment to keep the power flowing to you, our customers. In next month’s newsletter, we’ll share more details on the work we have planned for 2023.

  1. I live in the Village of Hills and Dales. Awhile ago I was advised of a plan to put power if not all utilities underground. The crew wanted resident approval to have trees and shrubs sprayed to retard growth. While I called all my adjacent neighbors for their concurrence, I have not heard back on the schedule for, at least, underground installation of power utilities.
I was also told that the Village would not be charged for this new construction.

Would you please advise the current status.
    Thank you,
