During AEP Ohio’s Week of Service, our team found even more ways to support the communities we call home. One project took employees to the Allen County Fairgrounds, where volunteers used their expertise to complete much-needed electrical improvements, including replacing aging power poles and upgrading electrical connections throughout the campground.
“Having their line trucks out here and their crews to help us make repairs and improvements to the property that have needed done for years is super helpful to us, especially from a financial perspective,” said Allen County Fairgrounds Manager Troy Elwer. “So having partners like AEP be able to step up and make things happen is something we’re very appreciative for.”
