The Lions Way Bentley Path is now open in Bluffton. AEP Ohio was one of the many community partners who made it happen.
For construction to move forward on the public works project, four of our utility poles needed to be moved. AEP Ohio also moved poles during the completion of earlier sections and will help again once additional sections are approved.
A recognition sign erected along the trail acknowledges AEP Ohio along with all the community sponsors.
The 1.7-mile trail provides a safe, off-the-road path for walkers, joggers and bikers as pedestrian traffic has increased in the Bluffton area in recent years. The path is located from the west end of Riley Street all the way to the Dairy Freeze on South Main Street, and connects to the current pathway at Richland Drive.
