Did you know the concept of barn quilts was born in Ohio? Did you know that there’s a dedicated quilt trail that runs across our state?
You may not … but you could probably guess that if we were asked to lend a hand hanging them then we probably would say yes.
Last month line workers from the New Philadelphia service center helped raised newly constructed barn quilts in Dover, Ohio. The quilts were hand-painted by 4-H children and, inserted into a wooden frame, were placed high atop barns’ exteriors using a bucket truck.
