By the Numbers

This year alone in Knox County, our crews have:
- Inspected nearly 50 miles of electric lines.
- Put up around 50 new electric poles.
- Installed more than 70 new pieces of electrical equipment like:
- Cutouts, which disconnect faulty or overloaded lines to protect other equipment.
- Reclosers, which can restore power after temporary interruption.
- Crossarms, which help support wires on poles.
- Continued forestry work to trim and remove trees that are at risk of causing outages.
